House & Home

Founded in 1932 Breville is an Australian kitchen appliance company. Their products are now sold in over 30 countries around the world. Despite their global success they are true to their roots and remained in Australia.

In the past couple of years I have bought or have been given as a gift three small Breville appliances.

Breville Gourmet Single Cup Brewer

My husband and I love this coffee maker. We got it as a Christmas gift; it was our first Breville appliance. It brews a prefect cup of coffee every time. It no longer makes sense to brew a pot of coffee. Our friends and family have all complimented on the the great tasting coffee they get whenever they come over for a visit. We especially like the fact that it has the reusable My K Cup integrated into the machine giving us the choice to use our own favorite brand of coffee. We also like the convenience of the K cups especially when we entertain and everyone likes something different. K cup coffee is available in an assortment of blends and flavors. There are also K cup teas and hot chocolate.

 Breville 4 Slice Smart Toaster

This is the best toaster that I've ever owned and I had several in the last thirty years. Bread, bagels and English muffins come out perfectly and evenly toasted every time. It is easy to use but because it is like no other toaster I recommend that everyone read the owner's manual first. It really looks great too.

 Breville Smart Oven

I got my Breville Smart Oven just a few months ago and I love it. It now has practically replaced my large conventional oven. It preheats very quickly taking only about three minutes to get to 350 degrees making it very energy efficient.  I have cooked frozen pizza, chicken, tuna casserole and salmon; everything that I used to cook in my regular oven - it all turned out great and was done much quicker when I used the convection function. The oven turns off when the timer goes off at the end of any of the cycles. Each of the cycles also has a smart default setting. The magnetic door seals very nicely and does not heat up the kitchen like a regular oven does. The stainless finish is of high quality, looks very nice and is easy to clean.
